Our 2015 MURPH Event is scheduled for Monday, May 25th from 9 am – 12 noon.
Every Year, we are proud to host this event.
To most, the Murph is simply a brutal workout, however, the Murph is more than just a “workout!” Just this past year (2014), the movie “LONE SURVIVOR” was released. That movie tells the story of LT. Michael Murphy.
In memory of Medal of Honor Recipient, Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. We are proud to host an event that bears his name.
The Murph Workout:
* 1 mile Run
* 100 Pull-ups
* 200 Push-ups
* 300 Squats
* 1 mile Run
Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run.
We have plenty of options to choose from.. Grab 3 of your training partners / teammates and join us on May 25th.
